Village of Homer
The Village of Homer is located in Cortland County in the Town of Homer. The Village was first settled in 1791 along the banks of the Tioughnioga River. Downtown Homer boasts a Village Green surrounded by a National Register-listed Historic District. The District consists of many beautiful, architecturally significant commercial and residential structures built in 19th century Federal, Greek Revival, Romanesque, and Queen Anne styles, to name a few. Historic lenticular truss bridges span the River. State Scenic Byway Route 90 begins in the Village. |
