Village of Groton
The Village of Groton is located in the northeast corner of Tompkins County and is situated on the Owasco Inlet, a tributary of Owasco Lake. Owasco Lake is one of the Finger Lakes. Groton is almost equidistant from the City of Ithaca in Tompkins County, the City of Cortland in Cortland County, and the Village of Moravia in Cayuga County. The topography of the Village is rolling hillsides, with the Village's Main Street (NYS Route 38), as the focal point of the community. |
