| The Town of Locke is a small rural township located in southern Cayuga County. The early settlement of the Town included a centralized hamlet area with outlying farms. Although farming has diminished, it still plays a significant role in the local economy. The hamlet area consists of some small businesses, the volunteer fire department, and Town offices, all located on NYS Route 38. |  |
