Town of Harford
The Town of Harford is located in the extreme southwest corner of Cortland County. Harford's terrain consists of wooded hills and fertile valleys with several creeks. It is primarily a farm community, with 41% of the land devoted to agriculture. A significant percentage of Town land (33.7%) is State owned land. The largest State usage is a 2,500 acre teaching and research farm operated by the State University of New York at Cornell. |
